國語(yǔ)辭典一字後附「兒」字語(yǔ)尾，讀時(shí)「兒」與前字相拼，成捲舌韻，相拼時(shí)有種種變化，稱(chēng)為「兒化」。如圈兒不讀作ㄑㄩㄢㄦˊ而讀作ㄑㄩㄚㄦ，牌兒不讀作ㄆㄞㄦˊ而讀作ㄆㄚˊㄦ。
