解釋清代由各省學(xué)政主持的考試。曾經(jīng)府試錄取的士子可參加院試。因學(xué)政稱(chēng)提督學(xué)院，故由學(xué)政主持的考試，亦名院試，又以舊制稱(chēng)提學(xué)道，故亦沿稱(chēng)道考。錄取者即為生員，送入府、縣學(xué)宮，曰入學(xué)，受教官的月課與考校。 院試
