國語(yǔ)辭典二十四節氣之一。在國歷三月五日或六日，此時(shí)正值春天，氣溫回升，蟄居的動(dòng)物驚醒，開(kāi)始活動(dòng)，故稱(chēng)為「驚蟄」。舊稱(chēng)為「啟蟄」。
受驚醒的蟄居動(dòng)物。《文選．左思．魏都賦》：「抑若春霆發(fā)響，而驚蟄飛競?！?/span>
